The theater is in our blood. (thanks to jose in queso)
She's an ancestor? Really? I wish I had people that colorful in my family tree! (Unless you consider the hillbillies on my mother's mother's side "colorful." The WERE involved in the Whiskey Rebellion. No doubt, if those ancestors were around today, they'd be hard-core gun nuts.) I don't know much about the ancestors on her father's side except that they were Quebecans (her father came down to the States from there). My father's mother was of German descent, his father, of Irish, but they were no longer alive by the time I was born. My mother's father lived well into his 90s, though (though it wasn't because of clean living!). That's a great photograph. And what a great name your actress ancestor had!
